The main entrance, parking, garden, and approach is from behind the
Dairy, with a second entrance up the old outside staircase to the kitchen.
The whole orientation of the house is away from the farmyard, so there's
privacy, and a fine view across the valley from the second floor balcony.
The final landscaping of this area is still being done, and there remains
the old pole barn rather close to hand, but we've made a large area of
patio/garden with flower beds and plants and loads of space for barbecues and
outdoor living.
As it’s really for use by the family - we are only
letting for six weeks each summer - its finished to a high standard, but
with an emphasis on relaxed family comfort. All the floors are polished
oak, there are masses of old beams, and the kitchen is handmade in wood
with integral appliances and beech worktops. The house is also built to
high eco-standards and is heated by a ground source heat pump with underfloor heating. . It has built
in 7:1 surround sound speakers, and full wifi broadband. It’s a true
mix of traditional and modern.

In terms of accommodation and equipment, there's plenty. Two double
and a twin bedroom -one ensuite - and a second bathroom downstairs with a
laundry area.

The kitchen has a built in oven, induction hob, fridge,
freezer, microwave, and a full range of equipment to match the most foodie
requirements!

The Dairy is available only for July and August and September. The rent is set at £800/week in July/August, then drops by £100 per week each week of September - thus £700,£600,£550 and £400. This is less than perhaps would be expected - we have decided that with the exterior still undergoing improvement its fair to charge a bit less just for this year.
