Attractions
The small towns of Falmouth
and Helston are about a quarter of an hour away, and Truro, the
cathedral city of Cornwall is about 12 miles.
The
Trengilly Wartha Inn, a renowned pub and restaurant featured
in both the good food guide and the good pub guide is just down
the hill from the farm. Nearby attractions are
The Seal Sanctuary at Gweek, Flambards at Helston and The Maritime
Museum at Falmouth. There are a host of others within a short drive,
with the Eden Project less than an hour away. The Helford Estuary
provides a wonderful place to explore on foot or by boat with secluded
creeks, beaches and several waterside pubs.
This
is the secluded and relatively uncrowded area of Cornwall,and Goongillings,
tucked down a long narrow lane, provides complete privacy and tranquility
in a beautiful location.
