This is Jonathan (aged 10) with his pet cow Matilda. We raised her from a tiny and feeble calf and now she has had &two calves of her own. She still thinks she's a bit of a human though! Some of our cows have cowbells round their necks. This makes for a lovely gentle rather alpine sound as they move around the fields.
This is Gilly the farm kitten, outside the Flower House. His mother, a wild cat, abandoned him aged three weeks and we felt sorry for him and adopted him. Now he's part of the establishment and very friendly, especially to children.
